While thinking about investing money, Fixed Deposit (FD) jo 3% se lekar 7% return provide karta hai, Gold Jewellery जरूरत ke time par jald se jald पैसों में covert karneke liye aur शौक पूरे karneke liye खरीदा जाता है, Real Estate 🏘️ jaha estate ko purchase किया जाता है aur दाम badhne par us bech दिया जाता है, and Equity from stock market इन जैसे options me Indian public apne paise invest करते हैं l लेकिन rate of return के बारे में dekha जाए तो India 🇮🇳 me investment karneke liye aur bhi options available है, jaise Mutual Fund जो near about 7% to 10% rate se return provide karta hai aur investment 10 ya 20 saal के लिए ho to return me aur bhi ज्यादा profit होता है as compare to other which we discussed earlier.

How do Mutual Funds work?

Mutual funds collect money from several investors and all the money put together and then invested. Mutual Fund की investments उसके theme pe depend होती है Jaise, large-cap Mutual Funds will only invest in a large-cap stock. अगर aapne paise large-cap Mutual Funds me invest kiye ho to aapko aapki investment ke बारे में awareness आ जाती है l Isski procedure aur आसानी से समझते हैं: –
1) सबसे pahile investor apne paise mutual fund company invest करता है l
2) Mutual Fund companies के Fund House मैं paise deposit होने के bad Fund Manager ko appoint किया जाता है l
3) The fund manager of Mutual Fund conducts the research and analysis around the stocks and debt instruments and based on the research, they invest investor’s money.
4) Money various sectors me invest kiya jata hai जैसे Stocks, Bonds, Gold, etc. jo profit generate करते हैं l
5) Profit me se company aapna share रखती hai aur bacha hua return investor ko passed back किया जाता है l

Types of Mutual Funds

• Equity Mutual Funds: These funds invest in stock markets and to classify them further, you have to look at the companies and sectors they are putting their money in.
1) If the Mutual Funds are investing in large companies know as Large Cap Mutual Funds.
2) If the Mutual Funds are investing mostly in mid-sized companies, they can be defined as Mid Cap Mutual Funds.
3) If the Mutual Funds are invested mostly in small companies then it is described as a Small Cap Mutual Fund.
4) If the Mutual Funds are investing in a specific sector, it can be defined as the Thematic or Sectoral Mutual Fund. Sectors to invest like the IT or auto sector 🚗 or pharma sector ⚕️.
• Debt Mutual Funds: For debt Mutual Funds, the classifications are based on lending tenure and the quality of the borrower. If you are a conservative investor, and you do not prefer to take too much risk, then through Debt Mutual Funds, you can also invest in debt instruments, where the risk factors are much less. If we take the example of Short Duration Mutual Funds, iss jaise funds ki maturity 1 से 3 साल tak होती है l Similarly, for Gilt Mutual Funds, money को government securities me invest kiya jata hai जहां high rated securities और credit risk low रहती है l
• Hybrid Mutual Funds: यह funds usually equity aur debt dono me invest करते हैं l They are further classified on the basis of how much is invested in equity and debt. Looking at the proportion of investment, it can be classified whether it is debt-oriented balanced or hybrid funds or Equity oriented balanced funds.
