हमारा आज का article issise releated है l The 1st women to be hanged in independent India is ‘Shabnam Ali‘ .
उत्तर प्रदेश की Shabnam Ali जो amroha murder case की convict है, 1st Indian female होगी जिसे भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद फांसी पर लटका दिया जाएगा।
The incident dates back to 2008, जब Shabnam ने uske partner Saleem के साथ मिलकर अपने 7 family members की हत्या कर दी थी l
Shabnam and Saleem were having an affair and wanted to get married. However, Shabnam’s family was not ready for their marriage so the duo planned the brutal murder.
Shabnam lived in Bawankhedi, a village in Hasanpur tehsil of Amroha in western Uttar Pradesh .She is post-graduate in two subjects, English and Geography. Shabnam government school में teacher थी l When Shabnam was arrested Shabnam was 20 years old and she was seven weeks pregnant. In December 2008 she gave birth to her son.
2010 में Amroha sessions court ने Shabnam और Saleem दोनों को फांसी की सजा सुनाई, जिसे 2013 में Allahabad high court और 2015 में Supreme Court ने बरकरार रखा l
September 2015 में Shabnam के Mercy petition को Utter Pradesh के Governor Ram Naik ने reject kiya और 2016 में President Pranab Mukherjee ने mercy petition reject किया l
In February 2019 she filed fresh mercy petitions with the Governor of UP and the President .
In January 2020, a Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of India Sharad Bobde upheld the death sentence. If executed, Shabnam will be the first woman in independent India to be hanged for a crime.
Death warrant of Shabnam can come anytime soon. Only Mathura jail has the provisions for hanging a woman convict.
